This stunning poster features an iconic view of Boiler Island from Riven.
These posters were created using a spectacular stained-glass motif and are absolutely suitable for framing!
Each of these posters measures 11 inches by 17 inches and are “goldilocks sized” (not too big and not too small) to fit as a set on most walls. These posters are museum-quality giclee prints using archival quality luster paper for a textured look with some shine that won’t produce a ton of glare that lesser quality shiny papers tend to.
While each poster is filled with rich detail and can absolutely stand alone, when paired together with the other four posters in this series, they reveal a beautiful background image that spans all five pieces with a dazzling view of the starry night sky and the Maglev tracks used to get around the islands of Riven.
About Our Featured Artist Series
Cyan is, in partnership with select fans who are also artists, featuring their works in what we call our Featured Artist Series.
Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Coston! Kelly recently showed us a few pieces of art which just blew us away! Everyone at Cyan instantly fell in love with the striking stained-glass look Kelly was using to create her art pieces. We’d been looking to add some conversation-starters to our Riven collection of products for some time… It was a match made in Todelmer and we’re thrilled to be able to offer these stunners to all our fans and friends!
About the Artist
Kelly Coston is a Portland-based artist who's been drawing since she could crawl. She moved to Portland in 2003 to pursue a degree in 3d modeling and video game art, a decision heavily influenced by watching The Making of Myst from 1994. Since then she has expanded her horizons to include creating art using a wide variety of mediums. By day, she spends most of her time running her small business with her mother-in-law and by night, she and her husband, joined by their trusty cat, Zoe, storm castles and defeat evil villains. She also serves on the planning committee and board of directors for the Mysterium convention as the Primary Creator of All Things Pretty. Her portfolio may be seen at kellycoston.com.
Kelly has graciously offered to sign prints if desired, making each of them truly one-of-a-kind collectables. You will need to reach out to her via email at: rayne@mysterium.net before your order ships to request this. To make her job easier, please include the name you used for your order, the email address you used for your order, and your order number.
